“The struggle is real.” Many people recognize that life in this world is already chock-full of challenges and problems. Each day can be a struggle. Today, God’s Word opens our eyes to a fierce struggle for followers of Jesus. The people of God are embroiled in a spiritual struggle against evil and demonic forces. How do you fight an enemy you cannot see? Praise be to God! He has already given us the victory in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Valiant One has won the war. But the battles against temptation, the Tempter, and the tantalizing things of this world rage on in our lives. Knowing this, our God equips us with everything we need for our battle. He outfits us with battle armor appropriate for the fighting we face. What a blessing it is to know that our God has prepared, strengthened, and equipped us to stand firm to the end.
