The Lord Almighty Reigns Over All People
God’s original design teaches us a lot. He made mankind by hand. He placed them in the center of paradise. He even walked among them. In all this, God demonstrates his love for people & his desire to be with them. Of course, paradise was lost. But God’s desire hasn’t changed. In Isaiah, we learn of God’s desire to furnish his people with a feast and forgiveness. Why? Because he still desires fellowship with mankind and our sins make that impossible. That is why God sends messengers of the promise and the Son he promised. God longs to gather his own to his place and celebrate for eternity. The Gospel shows us why not all will be there. Some reject God’s invitation. Some refuse to wear the right clothes. But those who trust in the Lord, who live by faith and produce fruits of faith will rejoice and be glad in what God has done. He speaks and saves!
