The Ambitious Church Proclaims Christ Clearly

Her pain was unimaginable. Her daughter was demon-possessed and suffering terribly. Then the unthinkable happened. The Lord, the Son of David, was nearby. She cried out for him to help her, but he didn’t respond. After quite some time, the Son of David tells her that he came for Israel. But she does not give up. She knew God promised to bless all nations (Gen. 12) and that he would have foreigners serve in his temple (Is. 56). Paul reminds us in Ephesians that Christ has destroyed the dividing wall of hostility that once existed between Jews and Gentiles by fulfilling the Law on behalf of all people and bringing salvation to all nations in the same way. We are all saved by grace through faith and this is not from ourselves, it is found in the name of Jesus Christ who unites us.
