Follow Me: Today!

There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you make it a priority. It’s always on your mind! It guides all you do. Do you remember the story of the chicken and the pig who wanted to do something special for their loving farmer? The chicken said he would supply the eggs if the pig would do his share. The pig responded, “You’re just interested. My bacon and sausage mean I would be totally—and fatally—committed.” How do you stay committed to the Lord? You follow Joshua's instructions! Set aside anything or anyone that could get in the way of your relationship with the Lord. Follow the Lord with your whole heart. Never waver from your dedication. This attitude was expressed so well in Joshua's words: Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
