Follow Me: As a Family

In creation, we hear a familiar refrain. And God saw that it was good. Each part of creation was perfectly designed and implemented. But when God made Adam he recognized that something was not good—Adam was alone. So God blessed Adam with Eve creating marriage and family life. This is still a wonderful gift from God! Yet, because of the deep impact of sin, we struggle to always see God’s perfect design. As we review what God made and gave us, we renew our commitment to living according to God’s design with a new strength. We cannot carry it out perfectly, but God’s love for us fuels us, strengthens us, and renews us when we fall short. God is love, and so we receive love through our earthly connections and show love because of our connection to Christ.
